The Red Trail, Green Trail, and Grass Track are ATV and Motorcycle
The Black Trail and Blue trail are motorcycle only
The Green, Red, Blue, most of the Black and West Elm Trails are all open but still need a little clean up in some spots. The Black Trail is open to the big creek crossing there it takes a shortcut to the Van and all the way back to the start. Rebecca's Woods and everything North of the creek in the Black Trail section has not been cleared. The length of the Black Trail that is cleared is approximatley 12 miles of challenging trail. The Sport Utility vehicles Rhino, RzR, Teryx and the Can-Am Commander are under review for use on the ATV trails. More on this later if you have any questions on this contact Denny at 405-634-8400. Ride with great caution. All trail work is done by volunteers. The Black Trail and the Blue Trail are for motorcycles only! If you have any questions call 405-634-8400 and ask for Denny. Call 405-634-8400 to volunteer to help!
The Black Trail due to the many terrain changes will be closed due to wet conditions more than the other trails
It is illegal to ride anywhere except on designated trails. The penalty is up to $270 fine and impoundment of your vehicle. This is a misdemeanor and will go on your permanent record. Failure to follow the rules will result in loss of future land and or loss of existing trails. Read the posted rules and follow them. Riding in this area is a privilege not a right.
The City has given us a place to ride so show them that we are responsible and we can take care of this great riding area. Pick up any trash and keep the area clean. Do not park on the grass and keep the speed down in the parking lot. If you see someone breaking some rules remind them of what we can lose by their irresponsible action. Also you must have your permit with you on the trail at all times.
